Group trips, without the mess.
Who paid for what, each day’s plan, everyone’s photos, and the bookings stay on the same trip, and the whole group follows along on their phones.
App example: the expenses screen of an NYC weekend, showing that you owe Ana $42.
The group chat turns into a mess, nobody updates the spreadsheet, and in the end no one remembers who paid for what.
Illustration: a messy group chat, a spreadsheet with an error, and loose photos.
Three steps, from the invite to settling up
Nobody has to install anything. Just open the link that landed in the group.
Create the trip
Add the destination, the dates, and a cover photo.
Example: a new trip form for “NYC weekend with friends”, November 12 to 16.
Invite the group
Send the invite link by text. Each person joins with Google or email.
Example: an invite link sent by text.
Travel, then settle up
Log expenses during the trip. At the end, Tripplo shows how much each person pays, and to whom.
Example: who pays whom at the end of the trip, with the payments to Ana.
What you can do in Tripplo
Built for the middle of the trip: at the restaurant table, in the airport line, or on the bus.
Stop doing the math in your head at the end of the trip.
Each person logs what they paid, in any currency. Tripplo converts it to the trip’s currency, splits it among the people who were there, and keeps every balance up to date.
- Each expense stays in the currency it was paid in.
- Totals and balances use a recent exchange rate, in the trip’s currency.
- Split it with everyone, or only with the people who were there.
- At the end, you get the list of who pays whom.
App example: the latest expenses of an NYC weekend, in US dollars, and who pays whom.
Itinerary on the map
Each day with its stops. If someone changes the plan, the whole group sees it.
Example: day 2 in New York with 4 stops on the map.
Trip chat
The conversation about the trip stays next to the itinerary, away from the family group.
Example: the group deciding where to have dinner on Saturday.
Group photos
Everyone’s photos in that day’s album. Nobody has to ask “send me that photo” anymore.
Example: day 3’s gallery with 128 photos from 5 people.
Documents
Bookings, tickets, and vouchers saved on the trip, so anyone in the group can open them at check-in.
Example: trip documents with the apartment booking and the train tickets.
Prep list
What to pack and what to sort out before you leave, on a list the whole group can see.
Example: a “Before you go” checklist with 5 of 7 items done.
